Life After Death?

Scroll down for Shoutouts! ↓↓

I’ve been talking with people from everywhere, to find out what they think about life after death. Their answers have been interesting! Some have said they believe after death, it’s just nothing. Some say your energy returns to the air. Some say you get reincarnated as someone else.

The Bible says it is appointed for man once to die, and then comes the judgment (Hebrews 9:27).

But what is the judgment? It’s based on God’s Law. God’s law is holy, righteous and perfect. And if you break even one part of it, it’s like you’ve broken the whole thing.

For example, have you ever told a lie? Then you’ve broken the ninth commandment.

Have you ever used God’s name as a curse word? You’ve broken the third commandment.

Have you always loved God more than anything else? No? Then you’ve broken the first commandment.

Are you a good person? Take the test.

The Law is like a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ.  God knew that no one could keep his law, so he made a provision for us. He sent his only Son to live a perfect life — he was tempted in every way we are, yet was without sin — and he died a criminal’s death, to make atonement for our sin. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Cor. 5:21).  So the only way to salvation is  repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. It’s not possible to earn your way into heaven. No one can be a good person according to God’s standard!

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

  1. The Gospel of John the only book of the Bible whose written stated purpose, for being written (John 20:31). States how a person receives eternal life over 25 times.

That is a person believes that Jesus (of the New Testament) is the promised, Messiah (Christ) from Old Testament prophecies. When they come to believe this, they then trust in the Promised Messiah for His gift of His eternal life to anyone looking for eternal life. When the person trust, believes, has faith in the Messiah for eternal life. They immediately cross over from death to life (eternal life) never to be lost.

Jesus said to her, β€œI am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

She said to Him, β€œYes, Lord, I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

Neither the acts of love, or zeal, or repentance, or fear, or worship, or any other acts of obedience, are appointed as the means of our justification, because these actions carry in them an appearance of our doing something for God, our answering the demands of some law; and this would make our justification by a law of works: but faith is that act of soul whereby we renounce our own works as the ground of our acceptance; acknowledging our own unworthiness, and giving the entire honor to Divine grace. We are saved by grace, that God may have the glory of all.

    Isaac Watts 1674-1748

  2. No one has ever returned from the dead – No one knows what happens to us after death – no one can confirm the credibility of the bible or any other religious writings – Anyone that claims to have knowledge of what happens to us after death is a liar – No one knows.

Of course, if religious scholars stated the facts that he or she has no idea and just mealy hopes that they have all the answers no one would listen to them. So they need to lie and claim that they are somehow privy to information that the rest of us aren’t. And of course their livelihoods depend on these lies. The religious elite pray on the week and gullible.

Be strong – stand up for the truth and fight backward religious ideals – lets call religion out for what it is – Lies that have been formed to keep the church’s wealthy and the people poor.

  3. Weve all told a lie- referring to tje “good person test”. Weve ALL been lied to. Believing a lie as TRUTH a person will unknowingly promote that lie as TRUTH. Once the LIE has been exposed its ultimaly up to that individual to assess whether its true or a lie. With that said-“once a liar always a liar” is false- this silly test leaves no room for redemption. As the thief was forgivin because he saw his flaw and repented. I like the blog, thanks. I tried to prove the earth was a globe many years ago, there is more evidence of a flat earth than a globe. Thanks
